20 years ago we started our Boca pizzas at our Deli/Pizzeria Bocacina on the Wells Road, Totterdown. A couple of years later, luck struck and we were invited down to Paintworks to set up our first Bocabar, part of the plan to help promote the sale of the newly regenerated flats and offices.
20 years on, now in our newest Bocabar – the gorgeous old fermentation building at Finzels Reach – we’re so chuffed to still be creating new ideas for our pizzas; to keep it fresh and more interesting for all you lovely, loyal customers! x

Our pizzas are legendary for a reason.

We start with fresh dough made daily which is slow fermented for 48 hours for that extra flavour. We use a hybrid sourdough for the perfect dough. Each pizza is crafted with premium Italian and fresh locally sourced ingredients for that authentic taste. Served at 13", our pizzas are a bold fusion of New York and Roman styles resulting in a thin crisp base with a crispy, airy, crust, and generous toppings. Backed by 20+ years of pizza obsession.

We can offer vegan mozzarella, vegan feta and a gluten free base (+ £3).
However, our gluten free bases are not suitable for coeliacs because our kitchen and ovens handle flour.

Please make your server aware of any allergies or dietary requirements you may have. Due to our open kitchens and working with fresh ingredients, we cannot guarantee that traces of allergens are not present in any given dish. Please be aware that our olives may contain the occasional stone or stone fragment.

There is a 50p supplement for gluten free bread. An optional service charge of 10% may be added to your bill.
